float
-
Our most popular treatment time of the float is 60 minutes, but allow yourself about 90 minutes for your full float appointment. The extra time will allow for a tour of the experience needed, a shower before and after, and any extra time needed afterwards to relax for a moment before heading out. 30 minute and 90 minute sessions are also available.
-
Just yourself! We provide everything you need for the float for you: towels, robes, ear plugs, ointment for cuts and open sores, q-tips, shampoo, bodywash, and conditioner and any after care items you may need to get ready for your day after your float. You are welcome to bring a swimsuit, but most people prefer to float in the nude as the material on the body can stimulate the senses. Feel free to bring your own hairbrush/comb, deodorant, slippers and anything else that makes you feel as though you are at home.
-
The most important thing is, don’t shave or wax before your appointment to prevent any burning sensations in the float. We also recommend avoiding caffeinated beverages or a large meal before your float. A light meal or snack is ok, but you want to make sure you are comfortable and able to lay down and relax without focusing on your digestion. Any relaxing activity, like listening to a meditation, taking a walk, getting a massage, etc. can also be a great tool to get your mind in the right place before a float.
-
Our float room will undergo an extensive high capacity filtration, cleaning the float solution a minimum of four times between each guest service. Sterilization is automatic, thanks to our QUANTUM technology. The only technology available with the ability to instantly destroy all viruses, bacteria, pathogens and completely break oil, skin cells and organic contaminants. And don’t forget there are over 1,000 pounds of Epsom salts in each tank that act as an additional natural disinfectant.
-
Many of our clients worry that the float room might be too small for their comfort, but the room is actually larger than it appears in the pictures. Our room was designed for 2 floaters at once, which provides you plenty of room to lay back and even stretch a bit! If you plan on turning the tank lights off, it feels as though you are floating in the middle of space. Don’t forget that you are in complete control of your environment throughout the entire experience. You can keep the float room door open throughout the service if you need.
-
There are so many profound benefits even after just one singular float. However, there can be a bit of a learning curve for most first timers, requiring a few floats to feel totally comfortable. We recommend floating about once a week to supercharge your long term mental, physical and spiritual health. You are welcome to float more often than that, it is even safe to float every single day if you choose! The great thing about floating is that every float has powerful cumulative benefits, and however you choose to build it into your wellness routine can be beneficial.
-
If you have recently dyed your hair, please wait until your hair color has set before booking your session. This could typically be about a 10 days after coloring, or when your shower water runs clear (typically after 5 washes). Same with spray or topical tanning lotions, please wait until your shower water runs clear. This will protect both your coloring treatment,
tan, and the water in our tanks.* Violation of this will result in a $1500 fee to cover cleaning, loss of business, and replacement of float water and salt.
-
Be without expectations! The beauty of floating is that it allows your mind to go wherever it wants to go with no constraints. Forcing expectations upon the experience will inhibit the natural journey that your mind wants to take. The float will make you feel incredibly relaxed. It is definitely safe to go about your day as normal after your float has ended, but we recommend not scheduling something right after the experience for you to fully enjoy the deep relaxed state that you are in. We welcome you to hang out in our recovery lounge area and meditate or journal for a few minutes before heading out. Your skin will also feel incredibly silky after your session has ended as well; you will find that you’re not even pruney after your session.
halosauna
-
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Hydration is one of the most important things before, during, and after each sauna session. Electrolytes are a plus! Going into your sauna as hydrated as possible will maximize the comfort and benefits of your sauna experience and keep you safe. Avoid large, heavy meals before your session. Avoid putting any products on your skin before arriving as well. During your session you will be sweating and releasing toxins a lot, and products on the skin can interfere with the detox process.
-
We provide you with two towels and a robe per person in our sauna suite, a washcloth, and makeup remover wipes. The most important thing we recommend is bringing water with you, we have our complimentary beverage station available to refill your water bottle if you bring one. If you would like, you are welcome to bring your own toiletries, robe, extra towels, and slippers. You may also bring a book or magazine to keep you entertained, or you may connect your phone to our Bluetooth
-
We recommend wearing as little clothing as possible! If you would like, you may sauna nude, or you are welcome to bring a swimsuit if you prefer.
-
Yes! We default set each of our saunas to the maximum temperature throughout the day. However, if you do not tolerate heat well, or need the sauna temperature to be lowered, ask a staff member for assistance! We can also set a note in your account stating that you prefer a lower temperature. The great thing about infrared saunas is that you will receive benefits at any temperature. If you start to get overheated during your session, simply open the door or step out of the sauna for a minute.
-
We take cleanliness very seriously and ensure that the suite is fully cleaned in between sessions with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Additionally, infrared heat kills 99% of bacteria, creating an inherently sterile environment.
-
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate more! Some find that they are sweating up to even a few hours after they step out of the sauna! Once you are cooled off, you will feel refreshed, relaxed and ready to go about your day as usual!
-
The only people who should avoid using the sauna are pregnant women, those with pacemakers and, although rare, those who have an inability to sweat. We also do not recommend anyone with skin lesions to sweat. If you are unsure, please consult with your primary care physician.
-
The short answer is that our cells get an energy boosts when they absorb natural light, especially red wavelengths at 660 nm and near infrared wavelengths at 850 nm. A large base of clinical research has found that this leads to enhanced energy production, increased collagen production, reduced oxidative stress, faster muscle recovery, and a lot more natural health benefits.
hot+cold relax

Contrast therapy is synonymous with hot & cold therapy. It involves a process of toggling between the heat in an infrared sauna, creating vasodilation in the body, and the cold in the plunge, creating vasoconstriction in the body. We built our suite to contain a 2 person sized infrared sauna, with a cold plunge right next to it. The suite also contains a relax zone with a yoga mat and red light therapy panels. Once a client books the room, they can jump in and out of the sauna and cold plunge to their own liking.
-
Salt+Light offers Express, 30-minute or 60-minute contrast therapy sessions. You will get an additional 10 minutes in the suite to get ready before and after. Plan for an Express session to take about 25 minutes, a 30 minute session to take about 45 minutes, and a 60 minute session will take about 75 minutes. This way you can enjoy the full service.
-
Please bring a swimsuit for your service. We provide you with two towels and a robe per person in our suite, a washcloth, and makeup remover wipes. The most important thing we recommend is bringing water with you, we have our complimentary beverage station available to refill your water bottle if you bring one. If you would like, you are welcome to bring your own toiletries, robe, extra towels, and slippers. You may also bring a comfy change of clothes for after your session!
-
Similar to our float suite, our cold plunge’s primary disinfectant process is ozone, which is injected into the water during the filtration process 24/7. When dissolved in water, ozone produces a broad spectrum biocide that destroys all bacteria, viruses, and fungi. As an oxidizing agent it is 51% stronger than chlorine, and works over 3x as fast. We also treat the water daily with spa grade non- toxic sanitizers that keeps our water clean and pure so you can safely enjoy your dip in the cold.
-
We take cleanliness very seriously and ensure that the suite is fully cleaned in between sessions with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Additionally, infrared heat kills 99% of bacteria, creating an inherently sterile environment.
-
You will always have a private session. Our suite can comfortably accommodate two guests and we offer a 60 minute doubles session. If you would like to bring a friend, please choose the doubles option while booking
-
Our Salt + Light recommended protocol is about 9 minutes in the sauna, 3 minutes in the plunge, 3 minutes rest, and repeat but you may toggle between the sauna and cold plunge as much as you would like during your session We recommend reading to yourself and adjusting to your personal and physical limits during the session. Cold water immersion is recommended at 12 minutes per week. A one hour session per week at 3 minutes per plunge will get you there.
-
Use of cold plunge and contrast therapy is not for everyone. Like anything health related, please discuss with your primary care physician before services, particularly if there are any outstanding health issues or contradicting conditions. Contrast therapy is not recommended for those prone to high blood pressure as extreme temperature changes may be shocking to the system. Those who are sensitive to cold temperatures or with any circulatory conditions. Anyone with open sores, pregnant, or with a pacemaker should not do this treatment. If you are unsure, please consult with your physician.
-
Our full spectrum infrared saunas reach a temperature of 158F (70C). Our cold plunges are kept at a temperature ranging between 45F – 60F (7C – 15C).

We recommend wearing a swimsuit, to get the most out of your service
recovery lounge

Generally speaking, a healthy individual can use compression therapy 4-6 times per week. It is particularly invigorating after a tough training session and during longer training periods for high endurance events such as marathons, triathlons and other athletic competitions
-
The duration of a compression treatment session might range from 15 to 60 minutes. We recommend 30-minute sessions if you have the time and want to get the most out of the session. If you’re short on time and only have 15 minutes, you should still be able to reap some significant benefits.
-
Absolutely. Compression treatment is quite pleasant for the majority of individuals. Our system allows you to be in complete control of your session. While compression therapy does provide pressure to the treated region, most individuals find the treatment to be quite soothing and enjoyable. As always, talk with your primary care physician or physical therapist if you notice significant pain during your session
-
Pain levels for acute or chronic conditions, improvements in color or texture of scars, improvements in skin texture and tone, quality of sleep, energy levels, recovery time post workout, and energy levels throughout the day are all good markers to track success.
-
Hydration is vital to the success of the treatments, so please drink water throughout the day. Following your session – Hydrate! Water is essential for cellular processes, and your cells will be hard at work after the compression therapy session. Make sure to drink extra water (add electrolytes) and eat well so your cells have all the fuel they need to heal.
-
We recommend wearing comfy clothes or athletic clothing. Avoid wearing anything loose fitting or jeans, as it can bunch up in the compression boots and be uncomfortable during your session
